Hi, I’m John the Dolphin Expert, and I’m excited to share something new with you.
We are in the process of upgrading the Dolphin World YouTube channel, and this new welcome video is going to introduce guests, families, couples, and vacationers to what our channel is really all about.
For over 30 years, I have been helping people discover dolphin experiences in places like St. Augustine, Orlando, the Florida Keys, Oahu, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico, and many other beautiful vacation destinations. But this channel is not just about showing pretty dolphin videos. My goal is to help you make a better, smarter, and more confident decision before you book your dolphin adventure.
When you are spending your hard-earned vacation money, you want to know what you are getting into. You want to know if the program is right for your family, if your children will enjoy it, if non-swimmers can participate, what observers can do, and which dolphin experience is the best fit for your trip.
That is why I am building this channel: to be a trusted, honest, and helpful guide.
I still remember the first time I swam with dolphins in Florida back in 1995. That experience changed my life and eventually changed my career.
From that day, Dolphin World was born.
Back in the early days, I provided one-on-one van service from South Florida down to the Florida Keys. I would personally bring guests to swim with dolphins. I got to see their excitement, their nervousness, their smiles, and the memories they made with their families.
Those early trips taught me something important. People do not just want a ticket. They want guidance. They want someone to help them understand the experience before they arrive.
Later, I was inspired to move the business online and become more of a dolphin adventure guide from my office. Instead of just driving guests to one location, my staff and I were able to talk with guests, answer questions, and help them choose the best dolphin or animal adventure for their vacation.
What started in South Florida and the Florida Keys eventually grew to Orlando, then St. Augustine, then Oahu, Hawaii, and believe it or not, the Caribbean and Mexico.
Over time, I really did become Dolphin World.
I have helped guests find dolphin programs in many different locations, including Swim with Dolphins St. Augustine, Swim with Dolphins Florida Keys, Swim with Dolphins Orlando, Swim with Dolphins Oahu, Swim with Dolphins Nassau Bahamas, Swim with Dolphins Punta Cana, Swim with Dolphins Cozumel, and more.
I do not say that to brag. I say it because I feel truly blessed that I have been able to do this for a living.
They say, “Do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life.” I really feel that way. Helping people discover these special experiences has been one of the great blessings of my life.
I have always been a pretty low-key kind of guy. For many years, I stayed behind the scenes. I worked on the websites, answered questions, helped guests, and built Dolphin World quietly.
But we are living in a different age now.
With the growth of AI, online reviews, travel websites, and so much information everywhere, trust matters more than ever. People want to know who is behind the company. They want to know if the person giving advice has actually been there and understands the experience.
With God’s help, I am now stepping forward as John the Dolphin Expert.
My wife reminded me that Colonel Sanders from KFC started his business later in life. Now that I am in my 60s, I feel like this is a new season, almost like a rebirth. I still have energy, passion, and purpose, and I plan to keep helping guests find dolphin adventures until the Lord takes me home.
What makes the Dolphin World YouTube channel different is that I have personally visited many of these dolphin facilities. I have seen the dolphins, the trainers, the guest interactions, the observer areas, the check-in process, and the little details that can make a big difference in your vacation.
I want to share those details with you.
On this channel, I plan to give insider advice and honest opinions about what you can expect during your dolphin program.
Some dolphin experiences are better for strong swimmers. Some are better for young children. Some are great for non-swimmers. Some are better for families that want observers to watch and take photos. Every location is a little different.
My job is to help you understand those differences before you go.
Whether you are planning a family vacation, a honeymoon, a cruise stop, a birthday surprise, or just a special day with dolphins, I want this channel to help you feel more relaxed and more confident.
The more you know before you arrive, the better your experience will be.
As we upgrade the channel, I plan to add more helpful videos about dolphin programs, vacation tips, destination advice, and real answers to the questions guests ask us every day.
I will talk about places like St. Augustine, Orlando, the Florida Keys, Oahu, Nassau, Punta Cana, Cozumel, and other dolphin destinations we work with.
I want to help guests understand the difference between dolphin swims, dolphin encounters, shallow-water programs, deep-water programs, touch-and-feed programs, and family-friendly options.
Sometimes the dolphin program is only one part of your vacation. I also want to share helpful travel tips about arrival times, what to bring, observer options, photos, parking, and nearby activities.
This new welcome video is just the beginning.
