John’s Insider Tip:
The Dolphin Encounter at SeaWorld Orlando is one of my favorite add-ons. Almost every time I visit SeaWorld with my family, we make time to do this poolside dolphin program. You’re in a small group and get the chance to play with, pet and feed the dolphins while learning more about them from the trainers. And here’s the fun part — when it’s hot outside, don’t be surprised if the dolphins give you a pretty good splash to help cool you off! If you’re already spending the day at SeaWorld Orlando, I think this is a must-do animal experience to add to your visit.
Get face-to-face with a bottlenose dolphin at SeaWorld Orlando during this fun poolside experience where you can learn from animal-care specialists, touch the dolphin and even help feed it.
SeaWorld Orlando combines exciting rides, family attractions, live presentations and unforgettable animal experiences, making it a great choice for families who want both theme-park thrills and amazing marine life in one day.
John’s Insider Tip:
You won’t find many places in Florida where you can experience this many incredible animal interactions all in one park. Over the years, I’ve personally done several of them and I give a big thumbs-up to all of these: the Dolphin Encounter at poolside, the Walrus Encounter — one of my personal favorites because a walrus is such a unique animal — the Beluga Whale Encounter, the Killer Whale dining experience, and the Penguin Encounter, which happens to be my wife’s favorite.
In my opinion, adding one or two of these animal encounters can take your SeaWorld Orlando day from really good to absolutely amazing. These are the kinds of close-up experiences your family will talk about long after your vacation is over, and they can turn a regular theme-park day into a memory you may never forget.
Make your SeaWorld Orlando visit even more memorable by adding a special tour or animal experience that gets you closer to the animals and gives your family something extra to remember.
John’s Insider Tip:
If you’re planning to swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove and also want to spend time at SeaWorld Orlando, take a close look at the multi-park ticket options before you book. I’ve seen the additional parks work out to only about $20 to $30 more in some cases, which I think can be a really good value. If SeaWorld, Aquatica, or another park is already part of your Orlando plans, the multi-park option may save you money compared with buying everything separately.
Turn your Orlando vacation into an even bigger adventure by combining SeaWorld Orlando with other Central Florida parks and choosing a multi-park ticket that can save your family money compared with purchasing separate admission tickets.
