This intimate 1 Hour program begins with a brief orientation, then enter the lagoon to learn about dolphin’s behavior. Meet, kiss, hug, pet, and feed dolphins in deeper water for the first ½ hour then the session continues on our private lagoon beach area for the remaining half hour. The Dolphin Facility is located on a private island called Salt Cay which is about 30 – 40 minute ferry ride from Paradise Island. You will get complete written directions with your ticket. Free Round Ferry Trip Transportation for all Participants from Paradise Island.

Guests travel to Blue Lagoon Island aboard spacious, double-deck catamarans designed to carry more than 100 passengers. The vessels are operated by licensed crews, include life jackets and required safety equipment, and remain close to shore during the approximately 20-minute ride through Nassau Harbour and past Paradise Island.
Blue Lagoon Island excursions normally operate every day, including days with rain. Refunds are generally not issued for poor weather unless the operator cancels the excursion. If severe weather is affecting Nassau, guests should check the status of their scheduled ferry before heading to the terminal.

The Dolphin Swim is typically limited to groups of up to 10 participants. The Dolphin Encounter can accommodate a larger group on the platform, with smaller groups of approximately 10 guests entering the water at one time.
The deeper sections used during the Nassau Dolphin Swim are approximately 10 to 25 feet deep. Participants wear mandatory life jackets, which help them remain comfortable and buoyant throughout the program. Short wetsuits may also be available when conditions are cooler.
Guests do not need to know how to swim for the shallow-water Dolphin Encounter. For the Dolphin Swim, life jackets are provided and required, although basic swimming ability is recommended because part of the experience takes place in deeper water.
Up to 30 guests may be present on the Dolphin Encounter platform, but only smaller groups enter the water for the interaction at one time. Dolphin Swim groups are generally limited to a maximum of 10 participants.
Guests normally check in at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, located between the two bridges on Paradise Island. Arriving about 30 minutes before ferry departure is recommended to allow enough time for check-in and wristband distribution.
Yes. The Paradise Island Ferry Terminal is located near Atlantis, Marina Village, and the marina. Guests staying in several Atlantis towers can usually reach the terminal on foot in about five minutes.
The large catamarans can generally accommodate collapsible wheelchairs. Guests with mobility needs should confirm specific accessibility arrangements in advance so the crew can be properly prepared.
