Getting to Blue Lagoon Island for your Nassau Dolphin Swim is straightforward, but ground transportation depends on where you are staying. Here is what you need to know before your program.
Guests check in at the Dolphin Encounters Ferry Terminal on Paradise Island. From there, you will take either the 8:00 AM or 10:00 AM ferry to Blue Lagoon Island, where the dolphin programs are held.
Plan to arrive and check in 1 hour before your scheduled ferry departure. If you are staying at Atlantis or Comfort Suites, the ferry terminal is nearby and can usually be reached by walking or by a short taxi ride.

Transportation to Blue Lagoon Island is provided aboard large, double-decker catamarans that can carry more than 100 passengers. Each vessel is operated by a licensed captain and crew and is equipped with required safety equipment, including life vests. The scenic ride takes about 20 minutes and travels through Nassau Harbour, past Paradise Island, and on to Blue Lagoon Island.
Programs generally operate year-round, rain or shine. Weather alone does not automatically qualify for a refund. If the operator cancels an excursion because of unsafe or severe weather, affected guests will be contacted.
