Dolphin Swim Adventure is a 30 minute shallow and deep water experience including touching, playing and training with a dolphin. You’ll also get at least one ride and swim with the dolphin with the famous belly ride. Plus, General Admission to Facility, Dolphin Educational Briefing and a special guided tour of Neptune Park and the Aquarium Room. Paid participants must be 5 years & 48″(122cm) or taller to participate.

The time slots available includes a guaranteed 30 minute dolphin program, educational briefing, animal exhibits, changing time, & reviewing your photos. Total time of activities is about 1 1/2 – 2 hours. Check in 1 hour before activity time.

You can come face-to-face with an Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin. You will learn about these underwater mammals in an interactive class that teaches you the basics about dolphins and what is going to happen during your dolphin program. You can submerse yourself in the water as you interact with the Dolphins as you get to touch, feed and get to train with a dolphin. You will also swim into deeper water for more interactions and even have a chance to get at least 1 ride, the famous belly to belly ride.

Refunds, Cancellations & Changes
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Dolphin World / Keys Adventure Tours, Inc. by email or regular mail.
Cancellation fees (per person):
31+ days before activity date: 10% service charge
30–15 days before activity date: 50% service charge
14–8 days before activity date: 75% service charge
Within 7 days:
No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the activity date, no-shows, or late arrivals.
Once your reservation is confirmed (has a confirmation number), refunds/changes are only allowed more than 7 days before the activity date and are subject to availability.
Reservation changes are subject to a $25 per person change fee.
Option before 8 days:
Up to 8 days prior to your reservation, you may convert your booking to a gift certificate (valid for 1 year). No penalty applies except the change fee.

How many dolphins are at the facility?
The facility is home to 14 Atlantic bottlenose dolphins: 8 females and 6 males.
Are there dolphin shows?
The facility no longer offers formal dolphin shows. However, you can still watch the dolphins play and enjoy seeing them interact with guests during scheduled programs.
What can I do with general admission?
General admission guests can view the dolphins through six 6′ x 10′ acrylic windows, watching them swim, play, and participate in programs—right along the beautiful Atlantic coastline.
Is there food on-site?
Yes. There’s a food truck with quick hot and cold options. Picnic tables are available if you bring your own food and drinks (before entering the park).
Is the facility outdoors? What should I expect for weather?
Yes—this is an entirely outdoor facility located directly on Florida’s coastline, so plan like you would for a beach day.
Is the facility wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The facility is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate many special needs.
Do programs run in the rain?
Yes—programs run rain or shine. If there’s lightning, in-water programs may be postponed until later. Programs are only canceled for severe conditions such as a hurricane.
Are the pools heated?
Yes, the pools are heated.
Are the interactive programs in the ocean?
No. All programs take place in the facility’s 1.3 million-gallon pool complex.
Where do I check in for my interactive program?
Check in at the Gift Shop at the entrance. Please have the dolphin ticket that was sent to you by email or text.
Is there anything to do before or after my program?
Yes—your visit includes free access to the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Bring your own chair, towels, food, and drinks to enjoy the shoreline.
How do I get directions?
After booking, you’ll receive complete tickets and directions via email or text.
Can family members take pictures while I’m in the program?
Yes. Family members can watch and take photos from the general admission viewing area.
Is there a best time of day for dolphin interactions?
Not really. Dolphins participate in programs at will and continue to play throughout the day.
Will I get to touch the dolphins in an interactive program?
Yes—interactive programs include plenty of opportunities to touch the dolphins and enjoy a variety of interactions.
Can general admission guests touch the dolphins?
No. General admission allows you to watch, but not participate.
What should I bring for interactive programs?
Are wetsuits and life jackets provided?
Life jackets are provided at no extra charge. (Wetsuit availability may vary by season/program.)
