If you adore dolphins as much as we do, it’s time for you to visit Grand Cayman and go into the deep water and splash around with our beloved marine mammals. The dolphins will give you a warm welcome and you will be eager to get into the water with them. This is one of the most dynamic dolphin encounter program as it includes a special educational time dedicated to dolphins’ life, their anatomy, secrets, and interesting dolphin facts, as well as moment full of harmony shared with nature, the dolphin and you. You will call this the dolphin lovers delight program.
Grand Cayman Dolphin Lovers Details:
A 15-20 minute educational presentation prior to entering the water with the dolphins.
A 30 minute mostly shallow and minimum deep water experience including touching, handshake, hand target and kiss.
If you are a non-swimmer, the deep water time is optional.
Personal photo opportunities with a dolphin.
A life jackets will be provided for use during the dolphin session. Wet Suits are NOT provided.
Guests should bring their own bathing suits and towels.
Lockers, Showers, and Changing rooms available.
Each Dolphin session is unique, based upon the guests and dolphins.
Observer gets to watch the dolphin interaction.
Children from 8 years or more 1.20m tall may participate alone in the Encounter program paying adult rate.
Children from 1 up to 7 years old or with less than 120cm tall may participate accompanied by 1 adult in the Encounter program.

Dolphin Discovery Grand Cayman is located at the West Bay Road, crossing the street from Turtle Farm, approximately 15 minutes from George Town. West Bay taxis from downtown cost approximately $20 Grand Cayman Dollars.
IMPORTANT: a valid passport is an essential requirement to visit Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.
Cruise Ship Guests:
Make sure you note that Grand Cayman time may not be the same as your cruise ship time.
This means the Islands share Eastern Standard Time (EST= -5 UTC) with Miami and New York from November through April. When the USA switches to Daylight Savings Time in April, Cayman then shares Central Daylight Time (CDT= -5 UTC) with Chicago and Houston.

Redemption Instructions
Upon arrival, please proceed to check-in window, present your dolphin program confirmation number or your last name, which you will receive after making your reservation via email or text.
Confirmation number is a must for entrance.
You do not need to have a printed voucher.
All customers/participants are required to sign liability waivers before participating in this activity.
Refunds / Cancellations and Changes:
All cancellations must be received by Dolphin World / Keys Adventure Tours, Inc. in writing by email or regular mail.
A 10% service charge will apply per person for any cancellations prior 31 days of activity date.
A 50% service charge will apply per person for any cancellations within 30 – 15 day period prior activity date.
A 75% service charge will apply per person for any cancellations within 14 – 8 day period prior activity date.
Prior 8 days of your reservation date, you may change your reservation to a gift certificate, where you would not incur any penalties except the change fee. This gift certificate will be good for 1 year from the date of the certificate.
NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN TO ANY ACTIVITY PARTICIPANTS who cancel within the 7 day period, does not show up, are late for scheduled program(s). Once a reservation has a confirmation number and confirmed, a refund or change can only be made more than 7 days of the activity date and any change to the program date is subject to availability. Changes made to existing reservations are subject to a $25.00 per person change fee.

How far is Dolphin Discovery Grand Cayman from George Town?
The dolphinarium is about 10 km from George Town or about 20 or 30 minutes.
How much will I have to pay for a taxi ride from George Town to Dolphin Discovery Grand Cayman?
The ride is about $20 dollars. If there are more than 4 passengers, the taxi will charge a fixed rate per person.
Is there any other transport with a lower rate to get to Dolphin Discovery Grand Cayman?
Yes. Grand Cayman has 2 bus routes that will take you to our dolphinarium with a rate of about $2 USD. You can take one of the direct routes from the adjacent corner of the Public Library Edward St. located in George Town downtown.
What do I have to do if I want to go to Grand Cayman Turtle Farm?
The Turtle Farm is in front of our dolphinarium and with a regular cost of $18 dollars.
Do you have showers to use after my swim with the Dolphins program in Grand Cayman?
Yes we do! Showers are located outside by the locker area. We advise you to take a towel as they are not provided at the facility.
Where may I leave my belongings while at Dolphin Discovery Grand Cayman?
At Dolphin Discovery we have lockers available for use during your time in the water. We require a small deposit for the key that will be returned when you return the key.
Can a friend/relative go with me to watch my dolphin program in Grand Cayman?
Sure. In fact, if you and your friends want to swim or snorkel before your program, the Turtle Farm offers a swimming pool for an additional $10 dollar fee for unlimited time.
Do Grand Cayman facilities have wheelchair access?
Of course. We have a viewing area in our ground floor Boutique if guests prefer.
What else can I do in Grand Cayman location besides swimming with Dolphins?
We have a Snack Bar where you will sample international cuisine dishes that our chefs have prepared for the most demanding palates. For all participants we sugest a visit to the Turtle Farm – located in front of our dolphinarium, with entrance starting at $18 USD.
Is there a beach near the Grand Cayman Dolphinarium?
Yes. Seven Mile Beach is the most famous beach of Grand Cayman and is only 2 km. from the Dolphinarium.
What happens if there is bad weather in Grand Cayman?
Due to our strategic location we are fortunate to be able to work under any climatic condition. However, it is possible that your ferry arrives to another dock, a little farther down the coast.
What is your policy on children?
Infants are considered children 1 to 5 years, whom do not pay the service, however for the Encounter program must have 1 year of age and / or life jacket must fit properly.
We consider them children 6 to 12 years, but for programs should measure 1.20 m and in the company of a paying adult or 1.40 m to perform any program alone. The children will do activities appropriate to their age and height.

What activities are carried out in each program?
Royal Swim: Foot Push, Dorsal Tow, Handshake, Kiss, Hand target, hug.
Dolphin Encounter: Hand target, kiss, handshake, as well as information about the behavior and anatomy of dolphins.
How many people are in the water at the same time?
Royal Swim: 10 maximum.
Swim Adventure: 12 people maximum.
Dolphin Encounter: 15 to 20 people maximum.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend to arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled time as you need to check in and receive a small induction.
Can I feed the dolphins?
Dolphins have a specifically balanced diet according to their age, activity and development, so feeding dolphins is not allowed as this could affect their health.
Do you have transportation service?
No, for the moment we don’t offer transportation service.
Will I have to wear a life jacket?
The use of life jackets is required in all water programs, our staff will provide the jacket that best suits your complexion, we have jackets available in different sizes and for babies one year old and up.
Can I use my camera?
For security reasons, is not allowed to use cameras in the water, professional photos will be available for sale.
What if there is inclement weather?
Our programs go on rain or shine, so there are no cancellations or refunds in these cases.
